The Trigger Moment I’m going to nominate a post that I wrote this month for the award. As one player put it “very heavy posts there” and I felt that at the moment, while we are in a new timeline and with our new mission, that there were a few little loose ends that weren’t wrapped up from our previous mission, which was partly deliberate to allow a post like this to be written. The context behind the post is that Thomas Dion was part of an away team to the surface of Tania Borealis two years earlier and watched as his father, who six years before that, was captured and moulded into a Klingon warrior, actually kill himself right in front of his son, instead of returning to the Federation. In the two previous posts, Thomas had a mental breakdown when on brig duty overnight, a drunk officer was sent to a cargo bay instead of the Brig, with Thomas determined to undermine the principles of his duty and his uniform. He was arrested and placed in custody, with Doctor Sidney Tyler-Moore coming in (a PNPC of mine) to help out, and this post begins that journey, a journey not just for the Doctor, but also for Thomas and the entire crew.
